CodeScrap does not collect any data. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising and no server. Everything you scan or type stays on your iPhone.

Detection runs entirely on your iPhone using Apple's on-device Vision framework. The camera stream is not recorded, not stored and never leaves the device. An image is written to storage only when you choose to save a code: for code types CodeScrap can generate, the saved image is a newly drawn black-and-white code; for Data Matrix and Code 93, which cannot be regenerated, the saved image is the cropped picture of the code itself.
When you tap the copy action, the text of the code is placed on your iPhone's clipboard so you can paste it into another app. The app does not read the clipboard.
CodeScrap works fully offline and makes no network requests of its own. The only action that leaves the app is the banner shown at the bottom of the screens: tapping it opens the App Store page of DeeperAI, another app by the same developer, in the App Store app. No data about you is passed along when this happens.
The app contains no third-party analytics, attribution or advertising SDKs.
CodeScrap is rated 4+ and is safe for all ages. Since no data is collected, no data about children is collected either.
Deleting a code or a category removes it from your iPhone. Deleting the app removes all of its stored data. Because nothing is stored outside your device, there is no separate deletion request to make.

コードやカテゴリーを削除すると、iPhone 上から削除されます。アプリを削除すると、保存されていたデータもすべて削除されます。端末の外にデータを保持していないため、別途削除を申請していただく必要はありません。
